Have you tried the top filling trick?
First you fill it, then you start screwing the top cap on and when you have t about halfway screwed on you turn it all the way upside down and finish screwing it on. You then open up the airflow and the juice flow if it has it.
This little trick has helped me so much, and I do it on nearly every single top-fill tank I own. It takes only a few seconds and helps stabilize the built pressure that builds up when you fill it.
I hope this helps! If it doesn’t, I recommend posting a pic of your build so we can see if there’s anything you can fix or change.
